Multimodal 2016 – New Opportunities
This years Multimodal exhibition resulted in more than 9,000 visitors and Jigsaw picked up a number of exciting, decision making new contacts. The three day show at the NEC provided great show-casing and networking opportunities for Jigsaw and it enabled a few of their senior management guys to catch up with a number of existing clients on a more informal basis, as well as discuss with some new faces the advantages and cost savings offered by Jigsaws unique, large-scale transport solutions.

Jigsaw customer return to growth and joins forces with Paul Hollywood
Premier Foods’ announced interim results for the 26 weeks ended 3 October, revealing that sales of brands such as Loyd Grossman, Sharwood and Mr Kipling, rose 1.6% to £156.5m in its second quarter and non-branded sales rose 10.6% to £18.5m. This resulted in a profit after tax of £21.7m, compared to prior period loss after tax of £49.1m.
Along with the results, the group announced the launch of a new product range in association with celebrity baker Paul Hollywood, branded under his name. “It’s the first new brand in 20 years and a sign of confidence from the new Premier Foods,” said Gavin Darby, CEO, Premier Foods.
“We are delighted to continue supporting Premier Foods through times of austerity and prosperity. But it goes to show that if you get your products and marketing investments right, along with key suppliers, it pays off.” Added Andy Humpherson, MD, Jigsaw.
