Sunday the 21st of March sees the start of the
inaugural Food and Drinks Logistics Show at the NEC in Birmingham, the first large-scale event of its kind in this country. The food and drinks logistics market is worth 12 billion pounds a year and makes up ten percent of food and drink companies total expenditure, so such an event is overdue. The show has the full backing of CILT (the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport), and Jigsaw Solutions will have a stand right in the thick of the action (located at stand placement Y008), ran by a team of representatives spearheaded by Andy Humpherson and Dan Mowbray, who will look to increase awareness of the Jigsaw brand and liaise with other top companies attending the event.
Every facet of the sector will be represented at the show, from packaging to IT, as the event amalgamates a number of other events such as the Food and Drink Expo, bringing together all sectors of the food and drink market - retail, foodservice, wholesale and manufacturing.
The show will also be a priceless opportunity to discuss the Jigsaw product and service offering with some of the biggest manufacturers in the business, giving us the chance to make important contacts within the sector. The Jigsaw stand will be manned throughout the four day event by staff from all levels within the business.
Commercial Manager Dan Mowbray comments, We are excited to be one of the first logistics providers involved in the FDLS, which will provide an excellent forum for attendees to find out more about how Jigsaw Solutions can add value to the UK logistics market and FMCG sector.
Registration for the event is free to all. To register, or to get more comprehensive details on what this event offers, simply visit www.fdlogistics.co.uk we look forward to seeing you there!
